Magnesite Carbon Brick
Description:
Magnesite carbon bricks are basic refractory bricks made of magnesia and graphite as the main raw materials. Its excellent performance depends on the role of carbon in the brick, but carbon is often easily oxidized during use, which deteriorates the organization and reduces the service life of the brick. In order to suppress the oxidation of carbon in the brick and increase its high temperature strength, additives need to be added to the brick. Magnesia carbon bricks are generally heat-treated at 150~200 °C for a period of not less than 32h. After heat treatment, it becomes the finished product. After special requirements, it is lightly burned and impregnated with asphalt.
Advantage:
High refractoriness, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance, high temperature strength
Application:
Converter, EAF, steel ladle, ladle refining lining
